The program starts with a small introduction course, where you will learn different learning techniques that can help you progress through the course.
Finishing this mini course in Kyna will also help you create a timeline to keep up with the deadlines and find the most ideal learning technique. In short, when completing the Career Orientation Week course, you will set yourself up for success, even before beginning in Coursera.
2-6 MONTHS SELF-PACED LEARNING
You'll receive access to the learning material hosted online on Coursera. You'll follow the course material at your own pace and can get support from the active online community.
GROUP SESSIONS
We'll host group sessions where we can review the course material and provide extra explanation and context. We will invite experts to present insights in the industry.
JOB SEARCH TRAINING
After completion of the course material, you will join an intensive Career Accelerator Program. You will be prepped to enter the job market with confidence to land your new job in no time.

You’ll be onboarded onto the program through Kyna, with an explanation about the Coursera learning platform and available support. You’ll join the Slack group session with fellow career-builders.

About the Program
With support from Google.org, Kyna is launching this Work in Tech Program in collaboration with the INCO Academy and organizations across 17 countries in Europe. The aim is to prepare individuals for a sustainable career in IT.
Upon completion, students receive a certificate and are ready to apply for positions such as systems analyst, support specialist, database administrator, IT technician and much more.
Whom is this program for
This program will be made available for 400 unemployed or underemployed candidates. This year, Google.org and INCO have asked us to focus on Ethnic Minorities and Women.
Anyone who's interested in switching careers to IT and feel that this program can benefit them should apply. We will select the candidates for this program based on motivation and fit for the program.
